UNIPORT student found dead in lover’s apartment, suspect arrested

A man simply named Collins has been arrested for allegedly murdering his partner, a 300 level student of the University of Port Harcourt.
The tragic incident occurred along NTA road at Mgbuoba in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The late Justina Otwen Nkang, a student of biochemistry, was reported missing four days ago.
She is said to have completed her industrial training at a popular private hospital on her D/Line axis in Port Harcourt where she was last seen.
Justina’s decomposed and dismembered body was seen four days earlier at the apartment of her boyfriend, who had visited her after work at the hospital, a source close to the victim said.
Sources said the deceased was murdered by her lover for ritual purposes, with her chest, eyes and other sensitive body parts cut off.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Grace Ilinji Koko, told our correspondent that the Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwaonyi, would address the press on the matter later on Thursday.
She said: “The Chinese Communist Party will hold a press conference at 11 a.m. today. We will know the details of the incident when we come.”
