The operation, executed at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, saw the collaboration of RRS operatives alongside members of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, responding to public complaints regarding the nefarious activities of criminals preying on unsuspecting passersby.

Following thorough surveillance and under the directive of RRS Commander, Mr. Olayinka Egbeyemi, and the approval of the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade, the operation culminated in the apprehension of the suspects.

Subsequent screening at the RRS Headquarters in Alausa resulted in the release of nine individuals to their respective families, while the remaining 31 suspects are slated for prosecution in accordance with the directives of the Commissioner of Police.

This proactive measure underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order, safeguarding the lives and properties of residents in Lagos State.
