Nigeria: Mohbad’s Father Seeks Truth and Justice for Late Son, Calls for Wife’s Cooperation

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has called on the police to invite his late son’s wife, Omowunmi Adebanjo, for questioning. This comes after Omowunmi posted on Instagram, implying that she has valuable information regarding Mohbad’s death. Aloba believes that Omowunmi’s testimony could be crucial in uncovering the circumstances surrounding his son’s demise.
In a statement released to the media, Aloba expressed his concern and urged the authorities to prioritize the investigation. He also requested that the police provide security to ensure Omowunmi’s safety when she comes forward with her testimony.
Aloba emphasized that justice for Mohbad is not only about his son but also about all Nigerian youth. He believes that the pursuit of justice is essential and unstoppable.
Additionally, Aloba revealed that he has filed a lawsuit seeking a DNA test for his grandson, Liam, in a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court. The purpose of the test is to clarify any doubts about Liam’s paternity, ensuring his right to a peaceful and dignified life.
