Nigeria: After a fire destroyed some of the buildings at the Nigerian Air Force Base on Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday morning, there was panic.

As of this writing, no one knows what caused the fire that destroyed the military base next to the Nigerian Correctional Service National Headquarters.

Our correspondent, on the other hand, is able to confirm that firefighters from the Federal Fire Service attempted to put out the fire in a timely manner.

Answering a request about the episode during a phone interview with our reporter, the Head of Tasks, FFF FCT, Amiola Adebayo, said firemen are endeavoring to extinguish the fire totally.

Adebayo said, “The fire destroyed piece of the NAF Base, and our men are here extinguishing the fire, and we’re striving to extinguish the fire totally.

“However, I cannot yet confirm the cause of the fire outbreak, but once our findings are concluded, we will issue a statement.”
