Nigeria: 52-Year-Old Impersonator of Delta State Government Secretary Nabbed for Defrauding Job Seekers

In Asaba, a 52-year-old man named Samsom Ibiloma has been apprehended by the police for allegedly pretending to be the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, and scamming job seekers. Mr. Bright Edafe, the Police Public Relations Officer, revealed that Ibiloma is part of a group specializing in impersonating high-ranking government officials.
The syndicate, using the guise of Kingsley Emu, has duped unsuspecting individuals seeking employment, amassing over N10 million. Following numerous complaints, the Delta State Police Command, led by Commissioner CP Wale Abass, took swift action, arresting Ibiloma and initiating efforts to capture other members of the gang, with the alleged mastermind identified as Stephen Odeemero. Victims are urged to report to the command headquarters or the PPRO office.
