Tragic Incident Unfolds in Ekiti Farm Settlement as Deaf and Dumb Man Allegedly Beheads Fellow Farmer.
In the quiet Ipole farm settlement of Agbado-Ekiti, tension grips the community following a disturbing incident. Sunday Alabi, a deaf and dumb individual, stands accused of beheading Sikiru, also known as Badoo, in a confrontation over stolen maize.
According to sources within the farm settlement, Alabi purportedly trespassed into Sikiru’s farm to pilfer maize. When confronted by Sikiru, Alabi allegedly launched a brutal machete attack, nearly severing Sikiru’s head. The assailant swiftly fled the scene, leaving Sikiru in a critical condition.
The grim discovery was made by other farmers who stumbled upon Sikiru, bathed in his own blood. Swiftly, the case was reported to the police, leading to the arrest of the suspect, as confirmed by DSP Sunday Abutu, the spokesperson for the Ekiti Police Command.
