The Nigerian Army has neutralized a notorious bandit, wanted by the nickname Mai Nasara, in Sangeko Forest, Kebbi State.

The team also killed two other suspected bandits, believed to be members of the same gang.

This is according to a press statement signed by Kebbi State Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Aliyu, on Monday.

Mr. Idris cited Birnin Kebbi Abdulrahman Usman, Director-General of the Cabinet Office’s Security Bureau, while revealing the success story.
While commending the efforts of security personnel in combating crime and delinquency, especially in the southern part of the state, Mr. Usman appealed to residents to give the personnel the necessary cooperation and support to succeed.

He said:

“Therefore, in order to achieve the desired goal of the security agencies of eliminating criminals in our country and restoring peace and normalcy, your support and cooperation is very much needed. We need people who can support security authorities with reliable information about the situation.”
