Nigeria: While Tinubu fires service chiefs and appoints replacements, Ribadu named the NSA

Ribadu named the NSA as Nigeria’s president Bola Ahmed Tinubu fired all of the country’s service chiefs on Monday and appointed replacements.

Willie Bassey, a spokesman for the Secretary to the Nigerian Government, stated in a statement, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and Comptroller-General of Customs from Service as well as their replacements with immediate effect.”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate retirement from service of all Service Chiefs as well as the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and Comptroller-General of Customs, as well as the appointment of their replacements with immediate effect.

The new Officers are as follows:
