A public affairs analyst and member of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), Mr Dare Adejumo, has criticized a BBC documentary on the late Prophet TB Joshua, founder of SCOAN. Adejumo dismissed the documentary, stating that the interviewed individuals were unknown to the church. However, a former disciple of TB Joshua, Paul Agomoh, who spoke to the BBC, insisted that the allegations made in the documentary were true and revealed that he had to go into hiding for eight years due to threats on his life.

The documentary features eyewitness accounts of alleged sexual assault, physical abuse, faked miracles, and trauma suffered by individuals associated with the late prophet. Adejumo accused the BBC of engaging in fictional narratives and propaganda. He defended TB Joshua’s legacy and questioned the credibility of the allegations made in the documentary. This controversy has sparked further discussions about the late prophet and his influence.
