Nigeria: Days from graduation, two A’Ibom Poly students passed away

There is shock at the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, in Ikot Ekpene Nearby Government Region as two female understudies were killed by a moving truck only two days before the finish of their Public Confirmation program in the organization.

that the occurrence occurred on Monday when the driver of the truck let completely go and slammed into the young ladies killing them in a split second on the spot.

that the occurrence happened a couple of meters from the school’s premises, close to the intersection of Ikot Inyang town, along Aba Street in Ikot Ekpene.

Abasifreke Okon and Irene Edwin, both of whom belonged to the Ikot Abasi and Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Areas, passed away while they were preparing for their practical examinations on Wednesday.

The departed ND 2 Science Lab Innovation understudies, portrayed as “best pals and indivisible twins”, should have finished their scholarly program after their tests on Wednesday (today).

In the interim, the administration of the polytechnic has deferred the assessments as many cohorts of the departed were said to have sobbed wildly as the remaining parts of the casualties were cleared to the funeral home.
