I-Care Optics, Bob Keita Foundation offer Mile II free eye screening

I.Care optics in partnership with Bob Keita Foundation recently offered free eye screening   and eye prescription to 14 prisoners and 22 prison officers at Mile II Central Prison.

The purpose of the free screening is to help the prisoners to have clear vision as their freedom of movement is limited.

Bakary Dibba, the Administration Officer for Bob Keita Foundation said they partnered with I-Care Optics to help prisoners by giving them free screening to be able to help them with their eyes.

“Our founder know how it feels to be a prisoner and therefore felt the need to give back to Mile ll Central prisoners to help them get a clear vision as they do not have freedom of movement like other people,” he added.

Mr Dibba said it is also part of their mandate to give back to the community especially those that are less privileged.

“We will raise fund for the people who got the prescription of medication and lenses,” he also said.
