The Nigerian Army (NA) expresses concern over the surge in fake online recruitment information, particularly related to the Nigerian Army Direct Short Service (DSS) Recruitment Portal for 2023. Meanwhile, the 6 Division, Nigeria Army, Port Harcourt, confirms the tragic death of a gallant personnel in a boat mishap in Rivers State.
The incident occurred during an operation on Bolo rivers in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area. Acting Deputy Director of 6 Division Army Public Relations, Major Jonah Danjuma, reveals that the soldier, deployed to safeguard national critical infrastructures, lost his life when the boat capsized due to a strong wave. General Jamal Abdussalam expresses condolences, emphasizing the soldier’s sacrifice in defense of the nation.
