In the quiet community of Egbe within the Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, a wave of terror swept through as suspected cultists, believed to be affiliated with the Iceland cult group under the command of the notorious General ‘Danger,’ claimed the lives of three individuals and abducted three others in the early hours of Monday.

The victims, whose remains were discovered along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road, fell prey to the ruthless actions of the rampaging cultists. Sources within the community revealed that two of the deceased individuals had been embroiled in disputes with the mother of the feared cult leader, Danger. Allegedly, this conflict prompted Danger to dispatch his followers to invade the community, resulting in the tragic demise of those who challenged his authority.

Furthermore, it was reported that the abducted individuals included two males and a lady from Egbeh community in Ubie kingdom, also situated in the Ahoada West LGA. The abducted lady was identified as the girlfriend of one of the individuals who had conflicts with Danger’s mother. In the aftermath of the killings, the mother of the notorious cultist reportedly fled the community.

Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe Koko, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command, confirmed the incident and assured ongoing investigations to unravel the circumstances leading to the gruesome killings. Efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act.

As the community grapples with the aftermath of these tragic events, it is a stark reminder of the pervasive threat posed by cult activities and the urgent need for law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of residents in Rivers State. The situation underscores the importance of collaborative efforts to eradicate the influence of such dangerous groups and bring justice to the victims and their families.
