Liberian Finance Minister Tweah, Others in ‘Serious’ Accident en Route from Lofa
The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, when Minister Tweah, along with his entourage, including Mrs. Tweah, was returning to Monrovia from a speaking engagement in Lofa.

Several persons including Finance and Development Planning Minister Samuel Tweah are currently being rushed to seek medical attention after an auto crash along the Lofa to Bong highway.
According to KMTV, the accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, when Minister Tweah, along with his entourage, Mrs. Tweah was returning from Lofa to Monrovia, a day after serving as the guest speaker at the fifth graduation ceremony of Lofa County Community College.
The minister’s wife, along with security personnel on board, was taken for immediate medical attention to the Phebe hospital in Bong County, KMTV reported.
Meanwhile, the Minister and others are said to be en route to Monrovia for advanced medical care at the JFK hospital.
