Gov. Abiodun praises Tinubu’s Tribunal victory and asserts that the judiciary remains the sole hope

On Thursday Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun expressed his congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for winning the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal with flying colors.
The Independent National Electoral Commission’s announcement of Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election on February 25 was upheld by the Tribunal in a unanimous decision.
The governor said in a statement that the verdict of the tribunal was evidence of Nigerians’ trust in the President, as shown by the election’s outcome.
He said that the judgment was sound, detailed, and all-encompassing and that the judges did their jobs with unmatched courage.
“It is heartening that the tribunal judges did not give in to the opposition’s attempts to sway the verdict in their favor by using various tactics.
He stated, “The judgment is a further testament to the fact that the judiciary is the last hope of our people.” He referred to the judicial system.
