Things to be aware in front of 2023/24 UCL draw

The Grimaldi Forum in Monaco will host the draw for the UEFA Champions League for 2023–2024 at 5 p.m. Nigerian time today, Thursday.

The draw will decide the gatherings for the opposition, which will highlight 32 groups from across Europe.

The certified groups have been cultivated into four pots, with the top pot containing the reigning champs, Manchester City, as well as the victors of the six highest level associations. The UEFA club coefficients are used to seed the other pots.

The leftover three spaces in the draw were settled on Thursday when PSV Eindhoven beat Officers 5-1, Copenhagen played 1-1 against Rokow Czezchakowa, however qualified on total and AK Athens lost the spot to Illustrious Antwerp after a 1-2 misfortune.

The gathering phase of the Heroes Association will start on September 19, with the last occurring on June 1, 2024 at Wembley Arena in London.

Pot 2: Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig, Porto, Arsenal, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Real Madrid.

Pot 3: Shakhtar Donetsk, Red Bull Salzburg, AC Milan, Lazio, Red Star Belgrade, Braga, Copenhagen, PSV Eindhoven.

Pot 4: Union Berlin, Lens, Newcastle United, Real Sociedad, Celtic, Galatasaray, Young Boys, and Antwerp.

The 69th time of Europe’s first class club contest, the 32nd since it was renamed the UEFA Champions Association, began on Tuesday 27 June 2023, and hurries to Saturday 1 June 2024.

The 2023/24 UEFA Champions Association season will finish up at London’s Wembley Arena. The feature of European football’s club schedule is getting back to the London scene for a record eighth time, and the third in the UEFA Champions Association period following the 2011 and 2013 finals.
