Supreme Court of Liberia Orders Minister of Finance Arrested

The Supreme Court of Liberia has ordered the arrest of the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Samuel Tweah for allegedly hindering the functioning of the judiciary.

According to the court writ, the Minister arrest is needed to show cause why he shouldn’t be held in contempt for creating constitutional crisis against the Judiciary.

As signed by the chief clerk of the Supreme Court, Cllr. Sam Momolu has instructed the Marshall of the court, Brig. General Amos Dickson to make certain that the order is executed.
