The COVID-19 pandemic has left more than four out of five people – 81% of the global workforce – affected by full or partial workplace closures. The crisis is having catastrophic impacts on working hours and earnings around the world and The Gambia is no exception to this rule.

The Gambia National Fundraiser For COVID -19 an initiative set into motion by The Mother Theresa Of The Gambia Amie Jarjue is so far the most successful relief programme implemented by The Diaspora in collaboration with Gambians on the ground .
The well coordinated initiative is still requesting for further funds as Amie Jarjue and Lead Counsel Essa M Faal and the ground team identify needy families across the country.
The initiative is also supported by many prominent Gambians both in the Diaspora and in the The Gambia.
