Nigeria: The lecturer at UNILAG who is accused of raping a student who is 20 years old is detained by the police

The Police in Lagos have requested the capture of a University of Lagos, UNILAG, lecturer accused for raping a 20-year-old student of the university.

The capture warrant was given by the Chief of Police, Idowu Owohunmi through the state High Court and involved the Bad habit Chancellor of the college.

The student, name kept, said the episode happened when she visited the teacher in the workplace to figure out issues about her outcomes.

A non-legislative association, Comprehensive Social Government assistance and Strengthening Establishment, where the casualty revealed the case, expressed instead of the instructor taking care of the undergrad’s outcome issues, he supposedly assaulted her on August 16, 2023.

The state Police public relations, Benjamin Hundeyin, affirmed the episode, saying, “He is to show up in court before very long.”

Responding, the representative for UNILAG, Adejoke Alaga-Ibraheem, said that the college knew about an examination including a worker of the college.
