To achieve this, the Inspector-General of Police has directed the Force Intelligence Department to enhance its intelligence-gathering efforts and collaborate closely with other law enforcement agencies and relevant stakeholders. The goal is to gather actionable intelligence on kidnapping syndicates and their modus operandi across the country. Furthermore, the intelligence community at large is urged to improve coordination and information sharing to facilitate targeted operations against kidnappers and their networks, leading to the rescue of captives and the disruption of their activities.
This proactive approach demonstrates the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to maintaining peace and stability in the country. It also underscores the importance of a coordinated and collaborative effort among various security agencies and stakeholders in addressing security challenges.
The Nigeria Police Force recognizes that the fight against kidnapping requires continuous vigilance, intelligence-driven operations, and the support of the public. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or provide relevant information that can assist in combating this menace.
