Nigeria: Police in Lagos investigate Tiwa Savage’s petition against Davido

Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, has filed a petition with the Lagos State Police Command against fellow artist Davido. In her petition, Savage accuses Davido of bullying and threatening her life.
The police have confirmed that they have received the petition and have commenced an investigation into the matter. Savage claims that Davido reacted disrespectfully to a post she made on Instagram, which included herself and Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
She further alleges that Davido made derogatory remarks towards her and warned her to be careful in Lagos. This incident has caused speculation as to why the two artists unfollowed each other on Instagram.
