Nigeria: Police in Lagos Arrest Two Suspected Kidnappers and Rescue Female Student

The Lagos State Police Command has successfully apprehended two suspects, Bolajoko Haruna and Adamaka Chinyere, in connection with the abduction of a female student. The arrest was made possible thanks to a tip-off from vigilant members of the community. Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, took to his verified social media handle @benHundeyin to confirm the arrest. According to him, the suspects were nabbed after concerned citizens alerted the Ikotun Police Division about suspicious individuals roaming their neighborhood.

Acting swiftly upon receiving the information, the police managed to rescue a secondary school student who had been lured into the suspects’ car and subsequently abducted. This commendable action underscores the importance of community involvement in combating crime. The Lagos State Police Command remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents, and this recent arrest serves as a testament to their dedication and effectiveness in fulfilling this mandate.
