Nigeria: Police charge Ekiti person for bitting woman’s eye

Ekiti State Police Order on Thursday summoned a 40 years of age lady, Funmilayo Aduloju, before an Ado Ekiti Boss Judges’ Court for supposedly gnawing an individual woman and harming her all the while.

The respondent was dragged to court on a count charge of attack.

The police investigator, Reviewer Johnson Okunade, that’s what let the court know “the respondent committed the offense on July 12 at around 8:30 pm at Ekute area of Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

“The respondent attacked one Adetutu Abegunde, by gnawing her with teeth to her left side eye while battling, which incurred serious injury for her.

“The offense contradicted Area 185 of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State 2021,” he said.

Okunade asked the court to conclude the case to empower him to concentrate on the document and gather his observers.

The litigant, nonetheless, argued not blameworthy to the charge liked against her, while her advice, Mr Opeyemi Esan, asked the court to allow the respondent bail, promising that she wouldn’t hop bail.

In his decision, the Main Justice, Mr A.O Adeosun, in truth the litigant bail in the amount of N100,000 with one guarantee in like aggregate.

The central officer concluded the case till August 3 for a consultation.
