According to reports, four students of Nasarawa State University, NSUK, Keffi have been kidnapped by suspected kidnappers at Angwan Kaale, a community in Keffi Local Government Area of ​​the state.

The students who were said to have been abducted outside the university campus at 10:30pm on Monday include Rahila Khanya, SLT 100 level, Josephine Gershon, Computer Science 100 level, and Business Administration 100 level. Levels include Ms. Rosemary Samuel of , and Mr. Goodness Samuel of Geography 100 level.

When contacted, Abraham Ekpo, head of the university’s intelligence and protocols department, said university authorities were aware of the incident and that the university’s internal security department, in collaboration with other security agencies, He added that they are ensuring the release of the students.

Nasarawa State Police Command Public Relations Officer Ramhan Nanser also confirmed the abduction, saying, “The police, in coordination with the military, responded accordingly when they received a distress call, started searching the area, and are currently tracking down the kidnappers.”

He said the police chief had ordered a search for the perpetrators in order to rescue the victims unharmed.
