Nigeria: Mohbad: More inconveniences for Naira Marley as radio broadcasts ban his songs

As indicated by a Twitter post by Aderonke Adesola, a presenter at the station, the management puts an endless ban on the songs of the President of Marlian Records.

Agidigbo FM has prohibited all tunes from Naira Marley’s Marlian Records on their radio station.

She said Marley’s tunes have been put on “Not to Be Communicated” (NTTB) on the radio frequencies by the station’s administration.

The post read: “Good evening team. In view of the sensitive nature around the death of Mohbad and the criminal procedure, the police have commenced, I will urge us all to exercise discretion.”

“To this effect, Naira Marley’s songs have become NTBB ( not to be broadcast) on our station till further notice. This is with immediate effect. Thank you.”

Naira Marley, who headed out in different directions from MohBad in 2022, has been accused for taking part in the passing of his former signee, a claim which he denied.

In an explanation he gave last week, Marley portrayed MohBad’s passing as difficult.

The management s of the radio broadcasts seemed consistent in their choices which was a drop out of the passing of the famous Nigerian vocalist and previous endorser of Marlian Records, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, otherwise called MohBad, under debate conditions.

The radio broadcasts preclude the playing of Marlian records on their wireless transmissions.

An assertion on the instagram page of new Fm created by Oluwasefunmi Williams on Tuesday, the station composed: ” Following the public clamor from the overall population testing the demise of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad), the supposed exploitation from various recordings becoming a web sensation and the contribution of individuals from his past record mark (Marlian records), new 106.9 fm has suspended the airplay of all melodies and items under the flag of Marlian Records.”

Talking with Vanguard, the Chief News, Fortune Omosola, who talked for the administration of Voice Fm said, ” we have chosen to suspend further utilization of Marlian craftsmen on our wireless transmissions.

Likewise, the Station Administrator of Newcruse Fm, Joshua Adegbite additionally affirmed that “tunes from the stable of Marlian records has been prohibited here till additional notification”
