Nigeria: Mohbad: Court grants N20 million bail to Naira Marley and Sam Larry

A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State has granted bail of N20 million to singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Lally.

He must also provide three responsible sureties.

Recall Naira Marley, Sam Lally and two others were charged and detained on October 6 over the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Arroba, popularly known as Mokhubado.

Justice Adeola Olatunbosun ordered the defendants to produce their passports and report weekly to the Panti State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

In his judgment, Olatunbosun said, “As part of the bail conditions, the defendant must surrender his passport and report to the State Criminal Investigation Department on a weekly basis,” adding that anyone involved in the case must He warned her that he should approach her directly.

She warned that “any attempt to contact me directly will be recorded and may be disclosed in a public trial.”
