Nigeria: Missing Zamfara journalist, Hamisu, found dead

A missing Zamfara journalist, Hamisu Danjibga, has been confirmed dead, as per the Nigerian Union Journalist, NUJ.

He was proclaimed missing before in the week however later found dead, the union’s secretary, Ibrahim Gada, said in an explanation.

The assertion, read: ” Zamfara State Gathering of NUJ second thoughts to declare the demise of Hamisu Danjibga, a journalist with Voice of Nigeria, VON, whose body was found in a soakaway behind his home three days subsequent to missing.

“The revelation of his carcass was a consequence of an upsetting smell apparent by Islamiya kids at night of September 20, 2023, who drew the consideration of their instructors.

“In the wake of splitting the sock away, the dead body was affirmed to be that of Danjibga by his family and a few neighbors. His memorial service customs have since been seen by Islamic orders.

“The association stretches out its ardent sympathy to the family, Voice of Nigeria, and the whole Zamfara State.

“The chamber while communicating profound worry over the idea of Danjibga’s death, spoke to security organizations to completely research the matter and deal with the culprits of the devious demonstration,” the assertion added.
