A yet to be identified man has died under mysterious circumstances in Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State.
It was learned that in the early hours of Tuesday, October 31, the body of an unidentified man was found at a truck repair shop in the Berger area of Lagos.
PUNCH Metro reported a witness came forward who said he saw the body of a man, who Wahab has not yet identified. The man was found leaning against a garage wall Tuesday morning when several truck drivers arrived. Pick up their truck and pick them up.
PUNCH Metro also found that there were no bruises or signs of physical violence on the body of the deceased, who was wearing only black pants.
He said: He was only wearing dirty black pants and I thought he was still asleep, so he was leaning his head against the wall of the school where people parked their trucks.
“He looked rugged and scruffy. I went to hit him so someone could wake up and leave, but even if I touched him, the man wouldn’t… It didn’t move. I tapped it again, but it didn’t move.
“When we looked at him closely, we found him standing dead. There wasn’t.
“Someone immediately went to Ojodu Police Station to lodge a complaint. Thereafter, the police came and removed the body,”
State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundein said on request. admitted the incident.
He said: “The body has been removed and placed in the Mainland Hospital Yaba mortuary for autopsy while attempts are being made to establish his identity.”
