In a tragic incident that unfolded in Niger State, Abubakar Sani stands accused of fatally injuring his elder brother, Kabiru Sani, following a heated dispute over property ownership. Both brothers, originally from Tafa Local Government Area in Niger State, resided in the Gawu Babangida area of Gurara Local Government Area.

The confrontation, which led to the fatal outcome, transpired on a fateful Sunday, reportedly stemming from longstanding tensions over property matters. Witnesses recount that Abubakar Sani allegedly wielded a sizable stick during the altercation, striking his elder brother in a fit of rage.

Prior to the fatal encounter, it’s reported that Abubakar had been issuing threats to members of his family, indicating a simmering conflict within the household. The altercation with his elder brother appears to have been the culmination of these tensions, resulting in tragic consequences.

Upon reaching out to the state police spokesperson, Wasiu Abiodun, for further details, it was confirmed that Abubakar Sani, aged 30, was promptly apprehended following the incident. Kabiru Sani was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Gawu, where he was later pronounced dead.
