
Nigeria: Joint security team capture two theft suspects

A joint security team of the Ogun State Police Command and the State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps has captured two people for supposedly breaking into houses and shops to take in the Oke-Ejigbo region of the state.
PUNCH Metro accumulated that before the capture, residents of the community had filed a few protests of break-ins and burglaries by unknown people.
In any case, the police Command unveiled in a proclamation that the suspected thief, Kolawole Sobowale and Moruf Soyoye, were captured by the joint endeavors of the security group in the early long periods of Sunday.
The state Police Advertising Official, Omolola Odutola, in a proclamation, said the suspects had admitted their violations, adding that a manhunt had started to capture the third suspect who ran away from the area.
“One of the suspects was seen moving with a blood smudge on his legs while conveying a live turkey. The SO Protected group followed them to their homes and cordoned off the house, prompting the capture of the suspects,” Odutola said.
She said the suspects had been moved to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
