In the early hours of last Wednesday, armed robbery suspects entered Oladipo Street, Iyana Yesi, the businesswoman Olufunke Oladipo’s residence in the Sango-Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Folasade, her daughter, told PUNCH Metro about the incident on Sunday. She said that a doctor took several hours to revive her mother after the attack.

She said, “They came around 3am. They shattered the ceiling. Blindfolded, my paternal uncle was present at the time. They entered my mother’s bedroom. At the time, my dad wasn’t there.

“At the point when my mother heard the sound of breaking in, she became dubious and called my father about the thing was occurring. The burglars broke into her room as soon as she finished her call, and my dad immediately called back. So they said she ought to get the call.

 They began to slap her. They instructed her to answer the phone and reassure her husband that all was well, which she did. My father had proactively called the administrator of the local area to tell him occurring at our home. The robbers were at it for hours. Around 4 a.m., they left our location. She was saved by no one. Doctors had to spend hours bringing my mother back to life. They beat her chest a few times until she became cognizant.
