Nigeria: In Ogun, the NDLEA shuts down a drug factory and makes an arrest

Operatives of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency , Ogun State have struck and destroyed a Skuchies processing factory and captured a suspect, Adekunle Adekola, around Ajaka in the Sagamu nearby government area of Ogun State.

Ibiba Odili, the NDLEA’s state commander, made this clear in a statement on Saturday.

The commandant said the agents busted the manufacturing factory on Thursday and held onto certain gallons of Skuchies, weed Sativa and Codeine among others.

Skuchies is a powerful and habit-forming drug, which is a blend with various sorts of medications.

The NDLEA officer in the state, notwithstanding, said that the chief suspect, a famous Skuchies maker and vendor, Abiodun, prominently called Iya Tobi has gotten away.

 Odili said, “A team of operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency based on intelligence, raided and dismantled a Skuchies factory around Ajaka area of Sagamu, Ogun State. Hoodlums butcher ex-civil servant lamenting insecurity in Ogun community.”

“During the operations, exhibits were seized from the factory, including 124 gallons of Skuchies, 306 gallons of Skuchies, 10 kilograms of cannabis Sativa, 20 liters of cough syrup containing codeine, seven deep freezers, two gas cylinders, an industrial cooker, four stabilizers, one generator, and one sound system with a speaker.

“During the activity, one suspect, Adekunle Adekola, was captured in the processing plant, while the chief suspect, a famous Skuchies maker and seller Abiodun a.k.a Iya Tobi is at large.”

The commander went on to say that the agents took 20 liters of codeine-infused cough syrup, seven deep freezers, two gas cylinders, an industrial cooker, four stabilizers, a firm generator, and a speaker-equipped sound system.
