Nigeria: In Lagos, a seven-story building collapses

In the Ikoyi area of Lagos State, a seven-story building has collapsed on Banana Island.
On Wednesday, the incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m.
When some of the site workers had left for the day, the PUNCH learned that the building had collapsed.
Some of them were anyway harmed because of the breakdown.
The incident was confirmed by Amodu Shakiri, who serves as the spokesperson for the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service.
“We received a call around 3:58 pm,” he stated. Currently, we are attempting to verify the claim that no one was beneath the rubble.
