
Nigeria: Gunmen kill 8 fighters, police officers, others in Imo; burn 2 vehicles

Unidentified gunmen, on Tuesday, went after and supposedly killed no less than eight security agents, and furthermore set burning two vehicles in Imo state.
An eyewitness let newsmen know that the occurrence occurred at around 11:30am in Oriagu, around the Aba branch in Ehime Mbano chamber area of Imo state.
The security agents effect were troopers, police officers and men of Nigeria Security and Common Guard Corps, NSCDC.
The video clip of the assault, which became famous online, saw around four dormant collections of warriors in their regalia and their weapons.
Likewise, their two vehicles were on fire.
At the hour of recording this report, it was said that the street prompting the location of the occurrence had been supported off.
Pressure kept on ascending inside and outside the impacted local area.
As indicated by the observer, “The episode simply occurred around two hours prior. Right away, I saw the two Hilux vehicles as they drove from Oriagu going to the Aba branch in Ehime Mbano.
“As I’m conversing with you now the Hilux vehicles are still ablaze. The warriors were singed by the shooters.
“Pressure is all over the place. We have shut our shops. We are returning home. We are seeing a ton of safety agents.
“They obstructed the street. Individuals are hurrying to our homes. Our kin are apprehensive anything can happen now.
