Nigeria: Government declares Tuesday, Wednesday as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration

The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, April 9th, and Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. This announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The minister congratulated all Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of the fast in the holy month of Ramadan and urged Nigerians to continue in the spirit of unity to improve and achieve peace and oneness in the country. President Bola Tinubu has also arrived in Lagos ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
