
Nigeria: For armed robbery, Oyo police detain an 80-year-old man and others

The suspects in the murder of Ogunleye Daniel, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, and their spiritual healer, a man named Gabriel Adeniyi, who is 80 years old, were taken into custody by the police in Oyo State on Friday.
The PUNCH Metro reports that the departed, Daniel, who was an occupant of the Ori-Agogo people group, Odo-Ona Kekere in the Oluyole Neighborhood Government region of the state, was killed by the suspects in the wake of denying him and different individuals from his loved ones.
Before he was killed, Daniel was employed at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Iyaganku, in Ibadan, the state capital.
Oyetumbi Ademola, Michael Adeniyi, Gabriel Adeniyi, and Kafilat Tiamiyu were the suspects.
Adewale Osifeso, the state police public relations officer, paraded them at the Command Headquarters in Ibadan. He said that an exhaustive intelligence-led investigation led to their arrest.

“Three suspects including their otherworldly healer, one Gabriel Adeniyi ‘m’ 80yrs, Oyetumbi Ademola ‘m’ 25 yrs, Michael Adeniyi ‘m’ 26 yrs were captured, while their pack chief named Fatai Fasasi ‘m’ 30 yrs, prevalently known as Ogun who purportedly fired and killed the departed official was killed at an experience with Police agents during their path.
