Nigeria: Five pass on, eight harmed in Lagos-Ibadan Freeway car accident

I’m sorry to hear about the tragic accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. According to the report, five passengers lost their lives, and eight others were injured in the crash. The accident involved a Mazda bus with registration number EKY582 YE and a Mercedes Benz truck with no plate number.
The truck reportedly suffered a tire burst, causing it to lose control and collide with the Mazda bus. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has attributed the cause of the accident to tire burst and overspeeding. The FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State, CC Anthony Uga, expressed his condolences and advised motorists to be vigilant and ensure their vehicles have good tires.
