Nigeria: Five Apprehended in Katsina for Unlawful Firearm Possession

In Kurmi village, Bakori Local Government Area, the Katsina State Police Command apprehended five individuals for illegal possession of AK-47 rifles.

 The suspects, Sharhabilu Dahiru, Abubakar Tukur, Kasamanu Abdullahi, Abdulrahman Shu’aibu, and Sulaiman Sanusi, confessed to stealing the firearms from Jamilu Lawal’s residence in Kakumi village. Lawal is under investigation, and all suspects are currently in custody.
