The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) cautions Nigerians about ATM swap fraud, highlighting a surge in public complaints.

According to Mr. Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity, the commission’s investigations reveal a connection between unauthorized withdrawals and ATM card swapping.

Fraudsters swiftly swap cards, memorizing PINs, and leaving victims with blocked cards.

The EFCC urges vigilance, offering tips such as keeping cards secure, monitoring transactions, and blocking cards promptly through the provided codes.

The commission remains committed to combating economic and financial crimes nationwide.
