Monday, a Toyota car was struck by an articulated truck carrying a 40-foot container near the cement bus stop in the Dopemu area of Lagos State.
It was learned that the incident occurred on Monday around 4 p.m.
However, since no one was in the vehicle at the time of the accident, there was no casualty.
The representative of the Lagos State Traffic The executives Authority, Taofiq Adebayo, while affirming the occurrence said, it happened because of brake disappointment.
He stated, “When its brake failed, the truck was moving inward Dopemu.” The driver let completely go simultaneously and later fell on a red Toyota Camry stopped by the side of the road. There was one in the vehicle when it worked out.”
Taofiq revealed that Bolaji Oreagba, the general manager of LASTMA, recently met with the truck drivers’ association and advised them to maintain their vehicles before traveling.
