The deaths bring to 25 the number of people killed in gang clashes in the area over the past three days.
Recall that the crisis began at the weekend when at least 22 people were killed in the communities of Tito and Tio Akos in the Ukum local government area of the state after bloody fighting between “chain gang” groups. please. Then “Full Fire” broke out.
A local source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Sunday night’s brawl spread to Ayati, resulting in the deaths of three other suspected gang members.
He said: “The attack on a rally in Ayati on Sunday night that left three people dead turned out to be a continuation of fighting that began in Tito and Tio Akos over the weekend. The fact is that among our youth no one knows who is who. And you can’t say who sympathizes with which group and who doesn’t.
“That’s why the battles become more chaotic and people are killed like animals.”
