The Iganmode Day is a yearly celebration that unites Awori individuals from various locations to honor the culture and traditions of the ancient town. The 31st edition of the Iganmode Day is scheduled to take place in Ota from Monday, 11th to Saturday, 16th December 2023, under the theme, ‘Ota: The Cradle of Awori Civilisation.’

Opaleye, addressing the gathering, extended congratulations to the monarch and participants, emphasizing the festival’s significance as a symbol of unity for the Awori people. He expressed Eagle Aromatic Schnapps’ delight in associating with the Olota’s throne, noting that Ota and the brand had become synonymous.

Obalanlege praised Eagle Aromatic Schnapps for its consistent support to the throne and the Ota Kingdom. He acknowledged the brand’s contribution to promoting the cultural heritage of the Awori people and fostering prosperity in the kingdom for both residents and non-indigenes.

In appreciation, the monarch conveyed gratitude to IDL and Eagle Aromatic Schnapps for their enduring relationship with the Olota of Ota’s throne. He commended the brand’s steadfast support for cultural heritage assets, especially during events like Iganmode Day.

It’s heartening to witness the collaboration between Eagle Aromatic Schnapps and the Ota community in preserving and celebrating cultural traditions, fostering unity, and contributing to the prosperity of the Awori people.
