21 Dec Nigeria: Chibok Raid: Two Lives Lost, Food Supplies Plundered in Boko Haram Assault

In the latest news from Chibok, Boko Haram insurgents attacked the town, resulting in two casualties and numerous injuries.
The assailants struck around 7 pm, causing panic among residents who fled into the surrounding bushes. Homes were burned, and food items were looted during the attack.
According to local sources, some residents spent the night in the bushes, while others sought refuge in neighboring communities.
Moses Adamu, a local resident, reported that two people died from the terrorists’ gunshots, but the total loss of life remains uncertain as villagers started returning home this afternoon. The Borno Police Command confirmed the attack, noting a joint effort by the military, police, and local vigilante successfully repelled the assailants. Unfortunately, two individuals, Mr. Badi (75 years old) and Ngule (45 years old), lost their lives during the attack. The situation has since returned to normal.
