
Nigeria: Breaking: Court sentences Lagos doctor, Olaleye to life imprisonment for raping wife`s niece

The Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr. Olufemi Olariye, was on Tuesday found guilty by Justice Rahman Oshodi of sexual offenses and domestic violence for raping his wife’s niece in Ikeja. I received it.

Oshodi noted that the prosecution was able to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt and all the evidence in court corroborated the evidence of the victim, adding that the charges of assault and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor were Olalie was found guilty of contact.
Olalie was charged with two counts of corruption and sexual assault by penetration of his wife’s niece, allegedly committed between March 2020 and November 2021.
Defendant was arraigned on November 30, 2022, and pled not guilty to these charges.
The prosecution presented at least seven witnesses. However, one case was decided to be withdrawn.
