A clash between cult groups at Community Senior Grammar School and Ikotun High School in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State resulted in the hospitalization of 10 students. The fight, which started during closing hours, escalated when the police intervened and the troublemakers began throwing dangerous objects at them. The situation worsened when tear gas canisters were shot into the school premises, causing a stampede and injuries among the students. Some students with health challenges, including asthma, reportedly collapsed during the chaos.

The injured students were taken to a nearby health center and later transferred to Igando General Hospital. Some students were also arrested and locked up at the Ikotun Police Station. The incident has raised concerns about the security and safety of students in the schools involved.
