The Police Traffic officers made this promise when members of the Road Safety and Driving Standard Association paid a courtesy call on the Police Mobile Traffic Unit on Wednesday.
Lamin King Colley, commissioner of Police Mobile Traffic Unit thanked members of the association for the initiative. He noted that road accidents are a global issue that require the collaboration of everyone.

He commended Traffic Police Officers for their efforts in minimising road accidents in the country.
Mr Baldeh said the association was registered in 2018 with the objective of working hand in glove with stakeholders and UN Agencies to minimise road accidents.
“We will lobby for funds as an association to train drivers and sensitise the public on road safety,” he said.
Njie Baldeh, administrative secretary for RSDSA said the objective of the association is aimed at sensitising the public on road safety matters to minimise road accidents in the country.
He therefore called on UN Agencies, government institutions and all stakeholders to work collectively with them to reduce road accidents globally.
