Lagos State Government paid 644 retired people N2.02bn retirement benefits in August

This was made public on Wednesday during the ceremony to present the 101st retirement bond certificate in Lagos, which attracted a large number of state retirees.
Talking at the occasion, the Chief General, Lagos State Annuity Commission, Mr Babalola Obilana, said, the retirement bond declarations represented something other than monetary prizes, however addressed the trust and certainty Lagos had in its retired folks.
