GFF President Lamin Kabba Bajo has received his latest accolade as an appointed member into the FIFA Players Status Committee.
Mr Bajo's appointment is sequel to an integrity test performed by FIFA to ascertain his credibility and to further establish his distinguish status to earn such a pedigree at FIFA.
The Players Status Committee is set up by FIFA to look into the welfare and conditions of players and to further ensure that matters that need redress relative to their welfare are catered for.
Mr Bajo will be the first Gambian Football Federation president in recent memory to have achieved such a feat.
Kabba's recent appointment into the FIFA circles has added his distinction to three in world football having earlier been appointed by CAF as a member of the Total Africa Cup of Nations Organising Committee and also a member of the CAF Reforms Committee.
