State House, Banjul, 15th February 2024: To mark the 59th Independence Day Anniversary celebration which falls on Sunday 18th February 2024, the public is notified that Monday, 19th February 2024 is a public holiday throughout the country.
Meanwhile the celebrations on Sunday, 18th February 2024 will be marked by the traditional parade by the Security Forces and school children. His Excellency, President Adama Barrow will take the Salute and address the gathering. All invited guests are kindly requested to be seated at 9:00 a.m.
The President seizes this opportunity to wish all Gambians home and abroad, a happy 59th anniversary celebration.
