Biran Jobe, a QTV editor said he is delighted to be chosen by Journalists’ International Forum for Migration JIFORM as one of its summit committee chair in The Gambia.
“I feel extremely delighted to the entire JIFORM executive after been selected as one of its Gambian summit committee Chair. I am honoured to be recognise by JIFORM and to take part in such high level summit which required mobilisation and teamwork. This is a big opportunity to raise the voice of the Migrants,” Biran Jobe said.
Mr. Jobe has made these remarks recently, during an interview with The Mamos Media via WhatsApp. He promised to share his experience to pave ways in combating irregular migration.
The QTV Editor said he would be more than willing to raise awareness on Trafficking in Person and called for Government to allocate resources for youths in order to avert migration.
“I am Calling on the Government of The Gambia to work together with Journalists whose intentions are to stand for migration because migration is everyone’s business,” he remarked.
He concluded by calling on Gambian journalist, activists, and stakeholders to increase the awareness raising on Migration and its related issues.
